Thank you very much for taking the time to visit and to find out more about my candidacy for Barnstable County Commissioner. Please spend a few moments learning about my aspirations for Cape Cod, qualifications, and how you can help.
In deciding your vote in November, please consider:
- Convictions. (No, not those kinds of convictions; I am not running for Congress) I believe that we need to make the most of opportunities now to keep Cape Cod livable for this and future generations, and that the character of this place is worth celebrating, respecting, and maintaining.
- Experience. Six years experience in county government have taught me that what our county does best is Enterprise Government: identifying and solving regional problems in a way that is responsive to the needs of our citizens and their communities, while being respectful of their pocketbooks.
- Accomplishment. Public service should be measured not in years served or dollars spent, but in how one lives up to their beliefs and served the needs of the people they represent. What I have accomplished is the result of respecting those I disagree with, trying to find—and if necessary move—the center of an issue, and taking myself much less seriously than the job I have been given.
- Motivation. Service, not politics.
I hope to earn your vote in November.
Sincerely,
William B. "Brad" Crowell (contact me)
